Claudia Chow is a graphic designer based in New York City with 8 years of experience in the interactive design field. Leveraging her background in industrial design and computer graphics, Claudia applies her design and analytical skills to create unique, innovative solutions for her clients.
As a Design Director at Duplexlab, a multidisciplinary design studio in SoHo, she brought her expertise in interactive design and environmental graphic to clients such as Universal Music, the Discovery Channel, This is That Corporation, and start-up companies such as Surf-Rodz.
Prior to joining Duplexlab, Claudia was an art director with IconNicholson (IconMedialab New York) where she was responsible for developing creative concepts and executions within a number of design disciplines including interactive media and print. As an art director, Claudia worked with a diverse range of clients including EMI Music Publishing, Prada, Gartner, AOL, Motorola, MasterCard, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Regus Network Group and The McKinsey Quarterly. She has also served as a designer at CORE77, Lucent Technologies, the National Capital Commission, and was a contributing writer for the design magazine IdN.
Currently, Claudia is a board member of the non-profit organization WomensLaw.org and serves as an advisor for the Lower East Side Tenement Museum's Digital Artist in Residency Program.
Claudia's work has been recognized by The One Club Interactive Awards, Graphis Interactive, Design Interact (AIGA), Siggraph, Omni Intermedia Awards, Sing Tao newspaper, Time Out New York and the San Diego Union Tribute.
Claudia holds a BID in Industrial Design from Carleton University in Canada, and an MFA in Computer Graphics and Interactive Design from Pratt Institute.
